Defender Ashley Cole will be out for another seven to ten days. A small tear to his calf muscle will ensure he misses a Champions League match away to Roma (November 4th) and a league game against Blackburn during the weekend. With the injuries piling up Chelsea probably won't even have enough players to even compete let alone win the league.

Chelsea are not doing well under their new manager Felipe Scholari. Maybe he is not being given the freedom to make changes by the clubs senior administration. We will have to see if they improve as the season continues.
